BLISSFUL HIMACHAL PRADESH

"Travel is my therapy."

So let's start today's therapy by visiting beautiful Himachal Pradesh.Popularly known as “Dev Bhoomi”, the land of gods and goddesses. Himachal Pradesh is filled with beautiful valleys, breathtaking mountain ranges, scenic hiking trails, mystical rivers and peaceful monasteries.

Himachal Pradesh is a northern Indian state in the Himalayas. We went on a 1 week trip to MANALI to celebrate my sister's birthday. It started with a 6 am road trip and on 1st day we crossed U.P, Haryana and Punjab then we took a halt and spent the night at the hotel.Next day we left for MANALI. It is almost 8 hour drive so we reached our hotel till 7 in evening. Our hotel was very close to mall road. Later we freshen up and discovered mall road.

Next day we planned to visit the very famous TIBETAN MONASTERY. It is around 1 and a half hour away from manali. On the way we saw many beautiful waterfalls. Then we prayed at the monastery and saw many beautiful offering made up of chocolate. Then we went to a fish breeding farm where they had some other fun activities for kids like rock climbing, Air cycling etc. On our way back we stopped at a waterfall and had momos and maggie.

Next day was completely planned for ROHTANG PASS. Our hotel provided us the car. We first choosed our snow jackets, boots and gloves. Rohtang pass is almost 2-3 hours away but traffic and bad road condition can delay it more. The way to Rohtang pass was so beautiful that it can't be described so easily. As soon as we reached there it was snow everywhere, we didn't wasted a single minute and jumped in the snow, after almost spending 3 hours it started getting cold so we decided to go back. It was my first snow experience and having snow fight with family made it more beautiful.

After such a tiring day we decided to spend next day in mall road and nearby places. We first visited HIDIMBA TEMPLE and spent some time in that beautiful park/forest.Later we explored the markets and then bought cake to celebrate my sister's birthday.Next day was for visiting JAWALMUKHI DEVI TEMPLE. The temple had a library inside so we all spent some time in the library.

Later we went to the textile industry and saw the method of weaving and then went to factory outlet and bought some beautiful handcrafted clothes, shawls and artifacts for us as well as for our relatives.next day we left back for our home overall this visit was most about the whole journey, rather than the destination. The view on our the way was so heavenly gorgeous.
